I apologize that I haven’t posted for a week. The internet at my apartment went out and it took that long to get it fixed. So is life. Anyway, I wanted to post this last week but it’s better late than never. Chiddy Bang released their new mixtape “Peanut Butter and Swelly” Memorial Day Weekend and it is full juicy sounds and tasty beats. There are plenty of collaborations on the mixtape with artists you may recognize such as The Knocks and Train. Meanwhile, Chiddy Bang unleashes his flow all over Xaphoon’s tightly produced beats, and they are especially on top of their game during Guinness Flow and When You’ve Got Music. The mixtape is free for download directly from the Ill Roots Blog. There are at least a couple songs on there that need to make your summer playlist, so get on it already.
